Our insulation range is suitable for Green Star projects and is manufactured with minimum 80% poly fibre from reused PET bottles, so it is safe and easy to install. 100% recyclable. No VOCs.
Noise Reduction
Whether it is a new wall construction or a retro fit, we can offer you top quality polyester acoustic insulation. We offer a range of thicknesses and densities to suit your needs. Our Absorb range offers both high performance sound absorption combined with reverberation control. Our 90mm Acoustic Thermal batt is both thermally rated R2 and achieves superior sound transmission control in wall and ceiling cavities.
Reverberation Control
The Absorb range can be used to create acoustic panels for restaurants, home theatres, open plan offices or homes, etc to cut down the reverberation that occurs from reflective noise bouncing off walls and ceiling. Depending on the application it can be used in its bare form or covered with fabric to suit the decor.
It is also highly effective in commercial applications such as generator rooms and is usually covered with perforated metal sheeting.
Thermal
Our Polymax Thermal range is an environmentally friendly option in reducing heating and cooling costs, making buildings energy efficient. We can offer a range of thermal options varying from R1.5 – R4. Polymax Thermal can reduce winter heat loss and summer heat gain by 7°C.
